8 years ago, a group of students played a game called Oyayubi Sagashi, translated loosely as “Searching for the Thumb”. The game is believed to transport souls to a mysterious room, in which they have to find a missing thumb. Whoever that finds the thumb, can have his or her wish granted. Takeshi is transported to the room, but while searching he hears Yumiko scream from another room. Yumiko has disappeared since then, and now, 8 years later, at the urging of Takeshi (Miyake Ken), they gather to play the same game once more in hopes of finding Yumiko. But one by one, they begin to disappear…
