Then as long as the file has an AC3 track, and a compatible Dobly Digital decoder is connected via the Optical connection then it will work.
To disable, change the '1' to '0'
And, You can just use XBMC, which can NATIVITY play back all digital formats (including DTS True surround) in full 5.1, and even, theoretically, 7.1 surround.
