Hi Frnds here's something interesting to all of u , they are the Romantic novels of Medieval romance by Sabrina Jefferies hope u all njoy, ![]() School for Heiresses After heiress Charlotte runs off to marry a dashing soldier named Jimmy Harris, who runs through her entire inheritance before having the good sense to get himself killed in a duel, she vows to keep other young women from making her mistake. So, with the help of a mysterious and anonymous benefactor whom she knows only as Cousin Michael, she establishes Mrs. Harris's School for Young Ladies that caters to…you guessed it…heiresses! Not blatantly, of course. That would be gauche. But her private Lessons for Heiresses are still quite informative, and before long wealthy parents are scrambling to have their daughters admitted to what the gossips deem "Mrs. Harris's School for Heiresses." The only trouble is, they probably wouldn't approve of everything their daughters are learning! The first Heiresses book, Never Seduce a Scoundrel, came out in March 2006, about an earl's daughter who tangles with an American major bent on justice. The second book, Only a Duke Will Do, is linked to the Royal Brotherhood Series, since it's about heiress Louisa North (who gives lessons on court behavior at the school) and her longtime nemesis from To Pleasure a Prince, Simon, the Duke of Foxmoor. It was released in September 2006. In January 2007 came the School for Heiresses anthology, including stories by not only Sabrina, but the incomparable Julia London and Liz Carlyle, as well as newcomer Renee Bernard. Sabrina's story concerned Simon's cousin, Colin Hunt, and one of the heiresses from the school, Eliza Crenshawe (the girl who keeps cussing in Only a Duke Will Do). Beware a Scot's Revenge, the book for Lady Venetia Campbell and the "Scottish Scourge" (real name: Lachlan Ross), came out in June 2007. Lachlan first appeared in Never Seduce a Scoundrel as the highwayman who kidnaps Amelia and Major Lucas as revenge against Lady Venetia's father. But you don't have to have read the first book to understand this one. Next up is Let Sleeping Rogues Lie, about Anthony Dalton, the Viscount Norcourt. He grudgingly agrees to teach a few rake lessons at the school under the "supervision" of Miss Madeline Prescott, math and science teacher extraordinaire, who is way too pretty for a schoolteacher. Little does he know that Madeline secretly needs his help…or that helping her is liable to put an end to his rakehell existence once and for all. Let Sleeping Rogues Lie is coming out February 19, 2008. Book 1: Never Seduce a Scoundrel March 2006 ![]() Lady Amelia Plume has many admirers; too bad they’re all fortune hunters and fops who can’t provide the exotic adventures she seeks. The ballrooms of Mayfair have become more appealing since the arrival of Major Lucas Winter—an American marine with a dangerous past and a brooding air. Lucas is brash, arrogant…and scandalously tempting. Every thrilling kiss sparks deeper desire, yet Amelia suspects that Lucas has a hidden motive in wooing her and she means to discover it, by any means necessary… Lucas came to London to find the cad who embezzled money from a naval contractor. The captivating Lady Amelia could be the key to his quest, but what started as simple flirtation has become a delicious dance of seduction. And when a rival jeopardizes Amelia’s reputation, Lucas must choose what he wants most—the chance to avenge his past, or a future filled with fiery passion… Book 2: Only a Duke Will Do September 2006 book cover ![]() Marry? Never! It would end Louisa North's work with her ladies reform group—and truth be told, she likes her independence very much, despite her royal father's protests. So when Simon Tremaine, the dashing Duke of Foxmoor whom she'd once loved—and had exiled from England-returns bent on marrying her, she's skeptical. Does he truly care for her, or does he simply want revenge? It's difficult for Louisa to resist Simon's dangerous charms, because the fire between them still burns as hot as ever. But when his ulterior motive for marriage is exposed, along with the deeply buried secrets of his past, Louisa vows to make him pay…and the price will be his heart. The School for Heiresses January 2007 Anthology ![]() From Sabrina Jeffries… "Ten Reasons to Stay" When Miss Eliza Crenshawe discovers her new guardian's plans to marry her off without so much as a Season, she flees – on a horse she unwittingly steals (oops!) from Colin Hunt, a newly minted earl who wants nothing more than for her to go home…or stay forever. From Liz Carlyle… "After Midnight" Confusion over room assignments at her uncle's estate yields a passionate encounter between Martinique – the daughter of a French courtesan – and the notorious rake Lord St. Vrain. Soon, there is talk of a proper courtship…though there's nothing proper about either of them! From Julia London… "The Merchant's Gift" A graduate of Mrs. Harris's school, Grace attends a refresher tea and receives a lesson. Sent to London to attract a match among the ton, she finds herself drawn to rugged Barrett Adlaine – an entirely inappropriate mate who will never meet with the father's approval. From Renee Bernard… "Mischief's Holiday" Alyssa's father is counting on her to make a match that will allow her transition into titled society despite Alyssa's constant mishaps and chaotic ways. There's no way she's a match for Mr. Leland Yates, who is ruled by logic and reason – or is there? Book 3: Beware A Scot’s Revenge May 22, 2007 ![]() Lady Venetia Campbell's visit to her childhood home of Scotland takes a dramatic turn when she's kidnapped at pistol-point by her father's sworn enemy. Sir Lachlan Ross is widely feared in his guise as The Scottish Scourge, but Venetia remembers her former neighbor as a handsome youth whose attentions she craved. Now a wickedly sexy man, Lachlan's appeal is even more intoxicating…and much more dangerous. Though Lachlan tries to treat her as his foe, his scorching kisses tell another story. And despite his plan is to use her as a weapon against her father, Venetia is determined that Lachlan's lust for revenge will be trumped by an even more powerful desire… Book 4: Let Sleeping Rogues Lie February 19, 2008 ![]() (show inside art) When Madeline Prescott took a teaching position at Mrs. Harris’s School for Young Ladies, it was to help restore her father’s reputation. Instead, she’s in danger of ruining her own. The devilishly handsome Anthony Dalton, Viscount Norcourt, has agreed to provide “rake lessons” to Mrs. Harris’s pupils so they can learn how to avoid unscrupulous gentlemen, and Madeline is to oversee his classes. She has always believed that attraction is a scientific matter, easily classified and controlled-until she’s swept into the passionate desire that fiercely burns between her and Anthony. Nothing could be more illogical than risking everything for a dalliance with a rake-even one who’s trying to behave himself. Yet nothing could be more tempting… Anthology: Snowy Night with a Stranger November 2008 ![]() Thanks to a carriage accident, shy Elinor Bancroft, the richest heiress in North England, ends up stranded at Lord Thorncliff’s manor on her way home for Christmas, along with her wounded aunt, three young and boisterous cousins, and their friend, Charlie Dickens. Tired of being courted only for her fortune, she is ready to forego the marriage mart entirely. And their grumpy host Martin Thorncliff, otherwise known as the Black Baron, only strengthens that decision. Lord Thorncliff is none too happy to play host to four children, their mother and a famous heiress. Bad enough that it’s Christmas, his least favorite time of year. He would rather hide in his barn doing his munition experiments than be tortured by the allure of a sweet young woman who makes him want to forget he’s a pariah in good society. Fortunately, neither Elinor nor Martin can hold firm against the sizzling attraction that engulfs them whenever they come near each other, and they soon discover that Christmas takes on a whole new meaning when you share it with one you love. Book 5: Don’t Bargain with the Devil June 2009 ![]() The future of Charlotte Harris’s finishing school is in jeopardy when a charming Spaniard, world-famous magician Diego Montalvo, arrives to turn the bordering estate into a scandalous pleasure garden. Valiantly ignoring his wicked flirtations, outspoken Lucinda Seton intends to derail his plans and save the school—unaware that Diego’s true mission is to spirit the long-lost heiress away to Spain for a handsome reward! But before long Diego’s heart is playing tricks on him, and Lucy is falling under the conjurer’s spell. How can the Master of Mystery go through with his devilish scheme when all he wants is to make the lovely heiress his own? Book 6: Wed Him Before You Bed Him July 2009 ![]() At eighteen, Charlotte Page made a life-altering mistake. She wronged a man in an impulsive act that she came to deeply regret, though it led her to her present life as Mrs. Charlotte Harris, owner of her School for Young Ladies. Unbeknownst to her, that man is now her anonymous benefactor, the mysterious “Cousin Michael.” His masquerade began as preparation for a devastating revenge, but soon became a labor of love. Now Charlotte desperately needs his help. Can he save her from disaster as his real self without revealing the ugly secret behind his charade? Or will the mistakes of their pasts tear them apart forever? ![]() ![]() Last edited by yamnovbloom; 09-06-09 at 02:20 PM.

![]() Swanlea Spinster ![]() It started out with three sisters, daughters to the Earl of Swanlea. Condemned to spinsterhood by circumstances (and bad luck), Lady Rosalind, Lady Helena, and Lady Juliet are struggling to make ends meet with an ill father and an underfunded estate. That's when Griffith Knighton and Daniel Brennan make an appearance that changes their lives forever. From there, matters follow a strange path: Juliet is kidnapped by a man named Morgan who turns out to be a man named Sebastian who actually DOES have a twin named Morgan with a friend named Ravenswood . . . and yes, they all have books. All right, I got carried away. But the end result is this series of five books (the first three of which really should be read in order), which has won awards, hit bestseller lists, and garnered wide reader acclaim. Hope you enjoy it! Book 1: A Dangerous Love ![]() The Hero ![]() Griffith Knighton has found the perfect way to avoid being trapped into marriage with one of the Earl of Swanlea's daughters: he'll swap identities with his man of affairs during their visit to Swan Park, and be free to search out the hidden document that will prove his legitimacy. After all, Griff is not about to marry some homely spinster just to get it from the earl. But he didn't reckon on the brazen, voluptuous Rosalind, who could tempt even a saint into sinning—and Griff is no saint. The Heroine Rosalind balks at the plan to marry her off to her father's wealthy heir—and his man of affairs is even more intolerable! The arrogant man is clearly up to something with all his sneaking about Swan Park, but the sparks that fly when they're together make her wish that he wasn't. He's a bit dangerous and a lot mysterious. Dare she risk her heart on a man whose secrets could destroy her love? ![]() Book 2: A Notorious Love ![]() The Heroine ![]() Lady Helena Laverick is at her wits' end! The only man who can help her find her eloping young sister is that scoundrel Daniel Brennan—the man who played with her emotions last summer and then left. And he used to be a smuggler! Although Mrs. Nunley's Guide to Etiquette for Young Ladies would never approve, Helena is forced to go after the runaway in Daniel's company. But something about being with him feels oddly freeing—and a delicious tingle warns Helena that more than her reputation may be in danger… The Hero Daniel finds most of the prim lady's rules ridiculous—but when she has to masquerade as his wife for appearance's sake, he immediately envisions the delights of sharing a bedchamber. The unexpected passion smoldering beneath her proper exterior ignites his desire, and the vulnerability hidden beneath her cool control makes him want her even more. Yet Helena's a lady, and he's the son of a highwayman. How can he ask her to share his world? ![]() Book 3: After the Abduction ![]() ![]() The Heroine After two London Seasons—and a score of resoundingly dull society suitors—lovely Juliet Laverick still longs for only one man: Morgan Pryce, the dashing scoundrel who kidnapped her two years ago. But her determination to bring him to justice hasn't waned—not even when the man she mistakes for Morgan, his twin brother Sebastian, tells her some shocking news: her mysterious paramour has disappeared. The Hero Sebastian Blakely, the Baron Templemore, dares not admit that he's the one Juliet seeks, that it is his kiss she still yearns for. Confessing to her abduction would bring disaster and scandal upon them both. But how can he convince Juliet to forsake her pursuit of her dream lover when all he dreams of is holding her in his arms again? ![]() Book 4: Dance of Seduction ![]() ![]() The Heroine It's difficult enough for Lady Clara Stanbourne to run her London home for reformed young pickpockets without having to contend with a criminal in business right next door. The mysterious Captain Morgan Pryce is obviously dealing in stolen property, and she will never allow the handsome scoundrel to lead the children astray! Pryce is very much mistaken if he believes her a delicate rose he can wilt with soft words and passionate, unspoken promises. Now if only Clara could douse the fiery yearning the charming cad ignites inside her… The Hero Morgan wishes he could tell the exquisite Clara the truth: that he is working undercover to break up a notorious crime ring. His mind should be on his duty—not wondering how it would feel to hold Clara in his arms and taste her luscious lips. But now that she has entered into his most dangerous game, Morgan knows he must have her, despite the very real peril to his secret mission…and to his heart! ![]() Book 5: Married to the Viscount ![]() ![]() Abigail Mercer was breathless with anticipation at being reunited with Spencer Law, whom she met in America and later married by proxy. But now the dashing Viscount Ravenswood denies all knowledge of their union! Too many witnesses have made it impossible for the secretive Spencer to reject his "bride" without causing a scandal, but he has sworn never to marry. So he proposes a marriage in name only until they can locate his mysteriously absent younger brother Nat—who is responsible for everything!—and untangle this messy affair. Abigail is incensed, irate…and irresistibly attracted to this handsome, infuriating man who hides his smoldering passion behind a proper exterior. So the lady will agree to his terms on one condition: Spencer must seal their bargain with a kiss. But when Spencer agrees, he finds that one deep, lingering, unforgettable kiss isn't nearly enough. And keeping his hands off his pretty wife is going to be much harder than he thought. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by yamnovbloom; 09-06-09 at 01:47 PM.

Raising her ultracute nephew was a dream come true, and as she and C.J. shared baby duties and close quarters until paternity was established, Dana kept her cool. But every time the commitment-phobe looked at Dana, the yearning in his deep blue eyes provoked a meltdown. Would what started as a small step for Dana's store turn into a giant leap for Dana's love life? Pride and Pregnancy (2007) Which Karleen Almquist had surely tried to do. If only it had changed her feelings for him… And as for Ben--he'd had his reasons for leaving, but Mercy had never been one of them. And so he was home--at least for now. And he should know better than to start something, once more, that he couldn't finish. Know better than to think that once he had her in his arms, he'd ever be able to let her go… ![]() Series: Guys and Daughters Dear Santa (2007) HIS DAUGHTER'S BIRTH MADE HIM A FATHER. BECOMING A DADDY WOULD TAKE A BIT LONGER.… Connecticut mogul Grant Braeburn never thought he was father material, even though his nearly four-year-old daughter should have convinced him otherwise. But then his ex-wife's death made him Haley's permanent parent. Her only parent. He needed help, in a hurry. It came in the form of Mia Vaccaro, the lively, lovely party planner who had been his ex-wife's best friend. Mia was the only one who could touch Haley's broken heart. And, Grant was becoming increasingly aware, his as well.… Baby, I'm Yours (2008) Kevin Vaccaro just found out he was a father...of a five-month-old! He'd put up a hell of a fight to overcome his troubled past. That was nothing compared to the battle he was about to wage for his child's future. Julianne McCabe had no intention of giving up her sister's child--the child she loved as her own--without a fight. Yet that was before Kevin started bonding with his daughter. Before he awoke feelings that made the grieving widow long to share more than late-night feedings. But was she ready to risk her heart again to be the wife Kevin needed? To become the family they both wanted? Yours, Mine...or Ours? (2008) He took one look... and fell in love. From the moment Rudy Vaccaro saw her, he was a goner. Never mind that his twelve-year-old daughter hated the house on sight. The old girl might be nothing to look at, but Rudy saw her potential. So did Violet Kildare... The house was supposed to be hers! Now Violet would have to find another place for her and her two sons to live. And then Rudy made an offer the struggling single mother couldn't refuse. There was plenty of room at the inn. But Rudy needed Violet's help--actually, he needed Violet, period. Somehow he had to show the once-burned mom that what was his was hers--and vice versa! johanna Lindsey: No Choice But Seduction (The ninth book in the Mallory Family series) When Sir Anthony Malory's daughter is abducted from Londons Hyde Park, the ransom note is mistakenly delivered to the home of his brother James Malory. But with James and Georgina in the Caribbean, only their house guest Boyd Anderson, Georgina's youngest brother, a notoriously hot-headed American sea captain, can help Anthony locate the girl and punish the foolhardy villain. Vivacious Katey Tyler fled the dull small town of Gardener, Connecticut when her mother died, seeking adventure and romance on a grand tour of Europe. At an inn one night she hears a pitiful mewling in the room next door and finds a little girl bound and gagged. Sweeping the girl to safety, she agrees to escort the girl back to her family in London. But Katey hardly expects to be apprehended by a big, handsome American man and be blamed for kidnapping the very girl she rescued! Little does Katey realize that in having caught the attention of Boyd Anderson she's about to experience more adventure and passion than the typical young lady encounters on a very grand tour, and in meeting up with the Malorys her life will never be dull again!
