This topic has been debated for years.

In my opinion there is no contest, Ninjas are far superior to Pirates.

Ninjas:
• Highly trained and highly disciplined.
• Wear black masks, use daggers, throwing stars etc.
• Stealth tactics.
• Look cool doing the robot. (Yes, I have seen it!!!)
• Feared and respected.

Pirates:
• Dirty, unorganized.
• Wear dirty sometimes stolen clothes.
• Drunken Tactics. (fail)
• Too drunk to dance...properly.
• Pirates are only feared, not respected.

If I were to go on this thread would be over before it started, so I will leave the rest to you guys.

You know I saw the 'Deadliest Warrior' episode on this. I was surprised on how close it was comparing the two. Ninjas ended up winning. They said that the disadvantage of being a pirate is outdated weapons. Plus Ninjas look cooler too!

What do you mean not in real life? Do you pay any attention to current events in such locations as Indonesia, Ecuador, Guyana, Vietnam, Nigeria, Malaysia, India, or Bangladesh. All these locations, and many more have had several reports of pirate hostility in the last several years.

Pirates would win, if on the open sea ninjas dont have sea legs they would topple get sea sick then die. If on land pirates have gun powder not to mention much like ninjas pirates are also masters of the sword but unlike ninjas pirates fight through pain where a ninja just runs away like a wuss. Pirates get limbs chopped off and still go on to be feared what does a ninja do? He gives up if he loses a limb. Not to mention how can a ninja look cooler? He wears all one solid color head to toe while pirates have some sexy flair because they can afford to look different because they know anyone who makes fun of them will get a nice new smile from ear to ear.

it depends on the situation. if the fight takes place in a wooded area it would be no contest. the pirate wouldn't be able to land a shot on the ninja. the ninja would promptly disarm his gun and out match him in duel of swords. on a boat it's a bit iffy. a ninja wouldn't let himself be detected so easily. being stealth is technically part of his skills. so if the ninja is unable to successfully assassinate the pirate undetected on the boat, then he'll mostly likely lose due to not being accustomed to being on a boat and probably being in a wide open area.

I forgot about these guys, bit they are still not well-organized. A highly-trained group of ninjas could easily take out those pirates.
