[spoiler] make 6 sets of mixed wines. e.g.12,34,56,78,13,57 and give them to 6 people. If wine 1 is poisoned 1st and 5th will die. and so on.[/spoiler]

The 1 hour is the hard part...So I guess I agree with amrutrajgore(though look at my thinking. :P)
[spoiler]Having one take a sip from each of their bottles, every minute was my first thought. That way if you keep track of the time he died, you'd be able to figure out which bottle of wine was poisoned based on the time. But since there is only 1 hour it would take to long.[/spoiler]

Hint: without killing anybody we can find the poison.
[spoiler] e.g. mix wines 146, 245,356 ,7.i.e 4 glasses for 4 people. if bottle 1 is poison 1st person dies, 2 is poison 2nd dies, 3 is poison 3rd dies, 4 is poison 1st and 2nd person dies, 5 is poison 2nd and 3rn dies, 6 is poison 1st and 3rd dies, 7 is poison 4th dies and if 8th is poison nobody dies. Expected deaths = (1/8)*4+ (1/8)*6= 1.25 By any other logic (that i could think of ) , average deaths were higher so i would go with this logic. [/spoiler]
