Ah man I was devastated when I heard the news.... I really hope the Jacksons can handle the media well, I know they'll be merciless in some way..

50's not exactly that old? My dad was shocked when he heard MJ died at 50.. My dad's 56 lol..

Say it was the stress and the apparent abuse of perscription painkillers they said he was taking..

Anyway, this is a hit to the music industry especially with his 50 sold out concerts in the UK.. And due to music trends in this generation there will never be another musician like him for a long time, what he did just doesn't really happen today.

hi darix here..

I too love MJ`s music and grew up with his music. loved every one of them. R.I.P Michael. You will be missed. I see there on the hunt for the doctors who were involved in his medical affairs. Papers over here were mentioning different types of painkillers that these doctors were prescribing him. One of the doctors is ment to have given him a double dose of painkillers befor he went into cardiac arrest. Now his autopsy report is ment to say that he was bald, lacked nutrition, bruised ribs and the such.

now its a despute over the will they found and whether his father will appeal it in court, because michael had left his father out of the will..

love you michael R.I.P now you can rest easy from all the suffering

You can be sure Joe Jacksn will begin grooming the kids to be the new "Jackson 3." He needs some talent for his new record label he was promoting at MJ's tribute.

When i first heard the news (by my Mum bursting into in my bedroom early in the morning, waking me up, to tell me!) I couldn't beleive it... I mean, this is Michael Jasckson! I'll admit, in recent years, i didn't pay him much attention but as a kid, i idolised the guy. As a young pup sitting up late to watch the premiere of the "Thriller" Video on MTV and also remember being in awe at his performance of "Billie Jean" at Mowtown 25 (the first time he performed the moonwalk). Awesome.

Forget all the rubbish (and it was just rubbish in my opinion) regarding certain aspects of his personal life - don't get me wrong, he lived a cookie lifestyle and obviously had his problems but he was an awesome (if not THE best) entertainer, dancer, etc. and THAT's what he should be remembered for.

I truly beleive he's in a better place now though and his music will live on forever. RIP MJ, there will never be another.

Wow.. it's still pretty shocking that he died... he was so young too, but I guess he had lived a good life? With his huge success in the music industry, I think that everyone will remember him for the great stuff he did =)

RIP.

I don't care if your a musician, actor, athlete or whatever-we should take Michael as an major example.

He put his all into what he loved and we should be like him when it comes to changing the world.

ok, i'm probably going to be hated for this.. yet it has to be said. Michael Jackson was an incredible musician and amazing at putting together his videos, yet he was very strange as a person. The guy paid £/$25,000,000 out of his pocket to a child to not take him to court over child abuse. Whether that was because he didn't want the bad press leaking out about him, or he may have lost the court proceedings.. whether it happened or not. Maybe he did only want company? Truth be told, 90% of you guys would have slandered MJ for something he did in his lifetime. Holding his child and almost dropping the child over a balcony. If it was all because of his depression/mental state then I will be eternally sorry and i will weep a million tears yet until the day i find that it was just that, i am not sad he has died, his career died a long time ago. I'll remember his music, not the person he became.

Hopefully though, he has went to a better place where he can finally rest, and forget the mental torture he endured throughout his life.

He never mention why he paid for that but I still think he didn't do it. Sure he had skeletons in his closet (we all do) but a parent taking money over justice for violating their child? There are sick parents who would do that but I doubt it's the case. I don't know how it went down but Michael was hurt bad by this scheme...
