Music Need definition for search engines_bands_singers

Every subject has itīs key words for search engines.
For years I am trying to figure out, how to find webpages of unknown bands/singers.

Could someone please tell me the key words I need for such a search or refer sites of unknown or off mainstream bands/singers. Canīt find the right pages on YouTube either.

No cover bands/singers.
No marsian killing music!
No porn.

I do not look for downloads, I just want to listen to the artists samples.

If I missed a post about this subject - sorry - yes I did use the search function first.

Thanks

Some 7-8 years ago.. downloads.com had an online music option where people could upload their original music.. I didn't get to download or listen to many artists because of bandwidth constraints, was on 128kbps I guess back then.. but still love to listen to those 20 odd songs I burned as a music cd (So now I don't even know the artists name!!)..
I'd also love to listen to the unknown artists.. their music sounds much better than the studio crap these days..Will post back here if I come across any such sites.. though there must be many cant seem to find then now..

That would be great and VERY much appreciated!!! Studio productions are not necessarily crap. There are some great recordings out there. Personally the it is the "hughe molt" of simular sounding music I donīt get along with very well, no matter which genre. Music sounds the same, artists look the same, production companies produce the same, outfits are tailored the same... and so on. Unknown artist are usually so "pure".

Experimental idm techno electronic freaks should take notice of Biloubas music.
Even so experimental idm techno electronic is not my cup of tea in some rare cases it is.

On Biloubas Album "Made In Rhythm" there is a title called "Paradox". lol
Coincidence Bilouba?
Nevertheless, that song is one of the rare cases! I really like "Paradox".

I keep your link and I still hope others will follow.

Try podcasts, or DJ mixes on Soundcloud for particular genres. They generally provide tracklists. Canada's CBC Radio has some podcasts that include individual tracks (last time I checked).

When it comes to old stuff, find blogs or forum posters with appropriate areas of interest, and just download everything. If there's a particular artist or song that you like, try googling it and see who has shared it. (That's how I stumbled on an "analog cyberpunk" site which had lots of obscure early electronic post-punk pre-rave stuff.)

Thank you!!

No I am only looking for productions of the present. DJ mixes wonīt give me an insight of a complete artistīs work. They are mixes, are they?

I know what a cloud is. But how do I get to a cloud like the one you preferred? You still need a search term, right?!?
