Default A simple question about APE files

I download quite a number of album (APE file).. so basically I have 2 files for the album
1. x.ape
2. x.cue

so from what I know CUE is some kind of playlist for the ape file. can anyone tell me what kind of software can convert/cut the ape file into files(i prefer after convert still same quality as ape) ? coz I have some songs that i really dun like and would like a song = a file.. because the ape file that I download is a whole album non-stop playing file. some of my mp3 player manage to play the file but not with the cue file.. which mean i have to play from very beginning for each album. i

Foobar2000

You'll need the Monkey's audio plugin:

If you do not use foobar as your audio player, just download the monkeysaudio compressor/decompressor stand alone app from their website here.

http://www.monkeysaudio.com/
This will unpack your ape files to wav files for you to edit in whichever way you choose.

CueTools is another option. It can verify files against the Accuraterip database.

Not the OP but thanks for the suggestions. I've had the same problem with APE files.
