You should check out We Can Be Heroes, the show he did before SHH, that gets better as you get to know the characters too. Last edited by Mulvaney; 04-24-09 at 11:36 AM.

1. Dexter is number one for me - roll on season 4 :o) 2. Life On Mars (UK) 3. House - so well written. Hugh Laurie is brilliant. 4. Medium - every episode's like a movie, some are unbelievably good (hoorah for the US TV show budget!) 5. Futurama - much more cynical than The Simpsons, remarkably emotional in places. 6. Greys Anatomy - didn't think much of the first few episodes, then I saw Knocked Up and 27 Dresses (with Katherine Heigl) and Enchanted (with Patrick Dempsey) and decided to revisit it. A few episodes later I was hooked. It's a pretty emotional show, some might say it's more for girls :o) 7. The Practice - when that ended it was like losing a friend! 8. Boston Legal - spin off of The Practice, not as emotional but more comedy. James Spader and William Shatner are brilliant together. They all seemed to have a lot of fun making that show. 9. The IT Crowd (UK) - the story of my job! Great stuff :o) First season was my favourite though. 10. Twin Peaks - very clever, very original, hilarious in some parts, freaky in others. 11. Red Dwarf (UK). Last season or so was poor though. Not tried the new episodes yet. 12. Star Trek TNG. Old faithful. I'd never seen it and a mate got me to tape it for him for a week while he was on holiday when it first came out and I got hooked. 13. The Lost Room - short but sweet, they could have continued it though - the raw materials were all there for a long life. Reminds me of my favourite book - Clive Barker's "The Great And Secret Show" 14. / 15 We Can Be Heroes / Summer Heights High - brilliant Aussie "mockumentaries" 16. Prison Break - first season. The end of the first season was SO exciting I could barely bear it. One of the best episodes of anything, ever. They're getting a bit desperate now though. Certain (reintroduced) characters look bemused to be there at all. 17. Heroes - first season. What a let down season 2 was. At some point I need to bring myself to watch season 3. 18. 24 - first few seasons. The best was season 2 I think. All pretty good up to now though. Season 7's lost the plot a bit though I think. 19. The OC 20. Firefly - got better and better ... then it was cancelled! 21. Coupling (UK) - first few seasons - until they lost a main character :o( 22. The Big Bang Theory - short but sweet, lots of fun, I can relate to far too much of it though! 23. Nip/Tuck - first few seasons, some beautiful moments. They seem a bit stuck for ideas lately though, so there seems to be an increasing amount of depressingly horrific personal disasters for everyone involved. Is it still going by the way? 24. Spaced (UK) - got better and better, such clever movie (etc) references 25. Six Feet Under - pre-Dexter Dexter! 26. Green Wing (UK) - mad 27. Fringe - shocking starts so far (only seen the first few). Promising. I've just started watching The Wire because I've heard a lot of good things about it - seems good so far (very realistic). I haven't seen the following, but they seem to be popular / interesting, so they're on my list to check out at some point (in no particular order): Scrubs Eureka True Blood Angel Lost Battlestar Galactica Oz Burn Notice How I Met Your Mother Dead Like Me Kyle XY Supernatural The Pretender Psych Oz Dead Like Me Pushing Up Daisies Stargate/s Bones - seen a few but not hooked so far. Dollhouse - aka "The Eliza Dushku show". Nice eye candy. Interesting concept. Not sure if it'll last though. I had a look at an old series called John Doe recently - nice idea, but full of holes. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a tv show. Some people just want to be entertained, others are looking for a piece of art. My favs would be Deadwood, The Wire, Sopranos, Carnivale, Twin Peaks (except for some of the season 2 episodes) and Mad Men. Lost is great as well, although it can get pretty corny at times, and not in a good way like in Twin Peaks.

This is a tough one. I would say my favorites are Flight of the Conchords, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Home Movies, Kenny V.S. Spenny and Cowboy Bebop. Not sure if some of those are considered a "TV Series" but I'm pretty sure. Last edited by SilentSpartan; 05-01-09 at 03:07 AM. Reason: spelling.

My favorite tv series are Firefly and Seinfeld. Those are the only shows, where i actually was sad when they ended.
