Designing The Batsuits

A video posted on youtube of the special features dealing with the Designs of the Batsuits. Really cool. They even bring up Schumacher's Batman designs. It's kind of sad though that the ones who started the suit in the First Batman went all the way through the 4th movie. No one thought this was a bad idea?

Compare that with TDK, they've come quite a long way.

Why was/is it a bad idea? That creative team was/is responsible for the incredible Batman costumes that have defined all of the current generation of Batman movies. Since the costumes have evolved from film to film, what's the problem? Compare them to the campy costumes worn by Adam West and Burt Ward during the popular 1960s TV series.
