I just got done watching "Adventureland" on my comp. The movie is satisfying, not really blowing me away in any particular field, but I enjoyed it. The lead actor plays a lovable character and really holds his own with the experienced Kristen Stewart (and Wiig). Some might be disappointed that "Adventureland" is not as funny as the director's previous feature, "Superbad," but I think it really stands out as a unique romantic comedy with a bit more emphasis on the comedy. I score it 7 out of 10 and give the director a solid "TO THE MAX!" | ||

i think i speak for everyone here when i say bruno was really stupid, if you cherish your life, you wouldn't waste it on bruno, in my opinion, it doesn't even deserve a 1/10 its not the last movie i saw, but it sure is the last time i've seen it. | ||

I finished the movie Once(2006) about an hour ago. If you're a musician, or a music lover, that doesn't mind hearing some sappy folk songs for an hour and a half, then this would be an excellent movie for you to see. Once is about two struggling musicians who find each other at the right time, giving the viewer an inside look into the Dublin music scene. The love story between the "guy" and "girl" musicians is interesting yet feels underplayed by the two actors. A few of the song sequences are what carry the bulk of the emotion, thus pushing it to heights above most independent movies (listen to "Lies," "When Your Minds Made Up," and "Falling Slowly"). Overall, Once is a great musically driven drama with a ton of heart. I score it an 8 out of 10 and want me an Irish accent. | ||

The watchmen again...9/10 IMO. yea, things were left out, yea things were changed, etc etc...I the directors cut adds like 20-30 min of film that helps also, but not bad for converting 12 comics to film | ||
