Next Day Air My rating: 6/10 entertaining at the expense of the afro-american sub-culture with ghetto life style overtones, glorifying crime, drugs, santeria, guns & the urban legend of shipping drugs with existing overnight carriers.

Inglorious Basterds 9/10 = Amazing Tarentino movie, instantly a classic, dead nazi's! District 9 = 9/10 =Really, the most original, well made sci-fi movie in recent years Drag Me to Hell = 7/10 = Awesome horror flick made my Sam Raimi, haven't seen a horror flick like this in years. All the new horror stuff is all about gore and blood, this was totally going back to how horror films used to be, really good!

Gamer - 7/10 I liked the action and how stylized it was. Still didn't quite work for me though. Worth watching. 9 - 5/10 Never have liked Tim Burton animation films to be honest. So take my rating with a grain of salt. The Hurt Locker - 10/10 Loved it. Hands down one of the best films I have ever seen. The Red Baron - 9/10 Again, I loved it. An Amazing film. Not sure how incredibly accurate historically but still worth the time.

I took a look at Speed Racer for the second time today, and this is what I think: If I were 10 years younger and looking at this movie the way I looked at The Matrix, I would love Speed Racer. The CGI race scenes are spectacular, and even the group fight scene is entertaining. What holds the movie back is how it went too soft. I know the directors were thinking of producing a family movie when it came time to write Speed Racer, but they watered the themes down and Emile Hirsch had a stale character to work with. I liked the scenes with the monkey, even though they were cheesy at times, and John Goodman plays a good father as does Susan Sarandon depicts Speed's hot mom. The story line with Racer X is compelling and puts a twist on the main plot of how Speed Racer becomes champ. If I compare Speed Racer to other race movies of the past two years, it comes out on top. Plus it's a pretty thrilling 2-hours if you ask me. I give it a 6 out of 10 for the critic in me and an 8 out of 10 for the fanboy.

Right America Feeling Wronged I loved it. Not sure if you would count it as a movie. Its just a short (roughly 45 minute) made for tv (hbo) documentary. But I thought it was hilarious. It probable helps that I'm liberal and Canadian though. If you agree with the people being interviewed then its probable less funny and more of a no shit Shurlock sorta thing though.
