I love watching entire series, but some are so frustrating. It seems that they just start a new arc, or have a cliff hanger, then it gets canceled. Others do a real good job at closing the series and have a good ending.
I just finished watching charmed and was very pleased to see how well they brought the threads together and had a conclusion to the series. Scrubs also had a good ending (before the failed 1 season restart).
I want to start another series and am hoping to find something that doesn't leave me hanging.
Do others have TV series they either thought ended well, or series that just left them frustrated with the way it just ended?

6 Feet Under had a pretty good ending. It was a good show in itself as well. I think it's the only TV show that I have seen that actually finished.

Lost's last season was a total waste so avoid that series. Saving Grace had an OK ending. Battlestar Galactica was very good through the end. Babylon 5 also had a very solid ending.

Thanks for the ideas. Yeah, I do tend to like the lighter stuff. I did enjoy Babylon 5 alot, and stargate. I'll look at some of the other suggestions. Thanks |

If you like good ending series, avoid new shows by Fox. All my favorite shows keeps getting cancelled with a cliff hanger such as My Name is Earl and Alcatraz.

I thought the ending to The Shield was incredible, I was just WOW. I hope the ending to Breaking Bad is flipping fantastic, and everyone dies. I want everyone to die, EVERYONE. |

I've not seen many shows all the way to the end, with the possible exception of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel. I've enjoyed Dexter, House, Walking Dead and Chuck as far as I've got. Ones I want to watch are Modern Family, Battlestar Galactica, 24 and Scrubs |

Two utterly fantastic endings: Sapphire and Steel. & St. Elsewhere. One awful(in that it wasn't an ending- it was cancelled by idiots)'ending': Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Yes, it was a cool last episode, but it was heartbreaking that it ended there - unfinished. A perfect example of why television is a broken medium. |

I hated the ending in Star-Trek Enterprise! Enterprise is supposed to tie-in with ToS, isn't it? Since they got cancelled after the fourth season, the last episodes did not make any sense at all. Ending of Star Trek Voyager, on the other hand, is how an ending of a series should be made.

Maybe you just didn't understand it or because there were no exploding cars. Whenever threads like this start, you will always see many differents tastes. Some like A and hate B, and others like B and hate A. This will never change no matter how good or bad a series is. |

Star Trek Enterprise Killing Trip was the worst decision they made, but in all honesty after a brilliant third season, they fourth was a step down anyway. Still, the ending sucked. I rewatched the series not long ago and deliberately wrapped up before the last episode. Lost First three seasons were great, the rest was a joke. The Dharma Initiative episodes looked promising but the show just went down towards the end. Great show, terrible ending. Friday Night Lights I shouldn't put this show here since I haven't watched the last season. I don't want the show to end even though I've been watching Riggins go to Mars and he and Landry fight aliens. The show is so good I keep refusing to end it but just watch it from start to season 4 and stop right there. BSG Great show, too much God this, God that in some parts, but a great show through and through. Gotta think on the rest, I watch way too many TV shows. |

Battlestar Galactica - one of the best endings to any series I've watched. Star Trek TNG, DS9, Voyager - all great endings. Stargate Atlantis - finished too early. |
