OK, so, I would imagine that like myself, most people who hang out in the movie section of this forum have seen thousands of films. My local Blockbuster has me down at something like 5k movies rented. And the records only go back a couple of years. I've been with them since like, 1989. That's not mentioning all the movies I watch online, from Netflix, etc.
So the question boils down to this: What is the absolutely most terrible film you've ever seen? I don't mean one of those, "Man, that sucked" type of experiences. Oh no. I'm talking about the, "felt like you actually died a little bit inside because you actually sat through that crap" movies. You know, those flicks that make Battlefield Earth seem like Citizen Kane. So, spill.
For me, it's kinda hard. I make a point to watch b-movies. Some runner-ups include Terror of the Astro Zombies, Zombie Nation and Eraserhead (I may catch some flack for that one.)
However, the king of the worst films ever that I've had to endure was Terror Toons. Seriously, that movie was so bad that a friend of mine and I made a pact to never speak of it again. It was that bad. So, you guys?

Believe it or not, I really hated Transformers 2. I'm all for wanton destruction and loud noises, but that is one of the few movies I left halfway through. it seriously made me feel like a i was getting more and more stupid the longer I sat there.

Can you believe I was actually insulted by the people I went with that to when they asked what I thought and I told them it sucked? *sighs* What is the world coming to?

How can you say eraserhead is bad...........I don't know anyway...off the top of my head: -Dude where is my car -Sky captain and the world of tomorrow (great concept, poorly executed, I almost walked out) -Day of the dead (remake)- the orig was cheap but good, the remake had a budget but nothing else, and they kinda rewrote the whole thing. -Superman (apparently flying around the earth backwards turns back time, so why doesn't he do it every movie then?) -Kung pow (interesting concept, just not funny in any way shape or form) -Alien vs predator 2 (the first one was surprisingly good....what happened to the second? And why did the us military just hand over very expensive night vision goggles to a soldier so she could give them to her kid to play with. I could write a better script if I took up heroin and got hit by a truck, leaving me a vegetable kept alive only via expensive machines that go PING!)

The Pumaman (L’Uomo puma)- I first saw this one late at night, it was really really bad. Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam- Maybe I shouldn't include this one as its funny in small doses but I've never been able to sit through the whole thing. Its also known as the turkish star wars, and rips off footage from just about everywhere. Brazilian Star Wars- If you don't know about this movie you have got to check it out, like the above movie, its funny in small doses, but i've never made it through the whole thing. and on the star wars theme (and while i think of it) the star wars holiday special- ok technically not a movie but it kind of ties into both the topic and the above movies. the animated first appearance of boba fett is good, but the rest is just an awful advert for star wars toys, if you are a star wars fan you should watch this at least once (for curiosity), but once is probably enough.

king arthur- with such a rich source of myth and legend to draw upon, a huge budget, and big name actors they still managed to make this movie into a dog (that should have been put down, or run over by a 4 wheel drive), now compare it to Excalibur, that was Arthurian myth done right. Dracula 2000- CR@P The day the earth stood still (remake)- I think I fell asleep during this awful movie, glad I didn't pay to see it.

I don't know what it was about Eraserhead I hated. I mean, I love David Lynch and I'm a complete Cronenberg junkie, but I just didn't like it. At all. Seriously, it was one of those films that felt insanely pretentious. Also, note that I said stuff that would make Battlefield Earth seem good. I mean, yeah, Dracula 2000 was bad but Dracula 3000 was a special kind of crap that made the previous seem like something oscar worthy.

Yes, yes there is. Seriously, most of the movies listed so far don't even begin to move the "crap-o-meter." There's just some stuff out there that you have to experience to believe. Attack of the Sabertooth, Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell, Mexican Werewolf in Texas...dude, most mainstream hollywood is bad but there's other stuff that'll blow your mind.

ROFLcop He is responsible for the worst films. I have to say *Lady-in-the-Water is probably the worst film I have ever watched. I couldn't finish it. I wanted to watch it simply because I think Bryce Dallas Howard (Ron Howard's daughter - Spiderman 3, Terminator 4 Salvation) is totally adorable. But I couldn't stand it. I can't believe Paul Giamati could play in such a terrible film neither. I also felt completely terrible after seeing "Vanilla Sky". It has its moments but damn what a tragic film. * - I named it like that cause some stupid adware virus is trying to create a live link out of it and I can't afford anymore warnings!
