You only need the R4DS to play DS roms.

i knowww. i was just asking what hardware you use personally. just for conversation. haha. i'm just waiting for the R4 to come in. i've got a good 1.5gig+ worth of roms waiting for me to put on a micro sd. haha. |

The R4DS was the first cart for me, so I had no previous savegames that needed to convert or anything else.
Simply upgraded the included kernel that came with the RS (which was only download and copy over to the SD). Then simply drag and drop the games over, and play. *** Added K - L - M roms. Added N - O - P roms. Added Q - R - S roms. Added T - U - V roms. Added W - X - Y - Z roms.
