you dont know how long ive been looking for duke nukem

For any game pre 95 id reccomend using Dosbox. If you used DOS way back when like I did then all the better, its an exact replica of 6.22 with customisable emulation of graphics cards, sound cards, CD Drives (physical and emulated), processors and even joystick support. If you never used DOS it will take a short while to familiarise yourself but it's worthwhile if you intend to play any old games. Hints for DOS are available all over the net and some tutorials are included.
CPU Speed can be changed on the fly with hotkeys along with many other options so with a minimum of messing around you should be able to get anything to work. Its not let me down yet and ive got around 100 games set up with customised (savable) setups for each one where needed. Its recently been revamped to work with Vista I believe, and it's freeware (I love these guys). I used to have an old 486 box set up but it fell into disuse when I found this little gem. http://dosbox.sourceforge.net |
