...or just real life... com'n, admit it, 22mbit bitrate is very good quality, and unless you own 70+" TV, you won't tell the difference... and if you do, you are not likely to hang around here.... much |

Unfortunately we don't have HDM rentals here in Taiwan. I just wish those that can upload HDM would just rip an iso in read mode with IMGBurn with AnyDVD HD running in the background. These isos are perfect and what I'd think everyone would want. Unfortunately we live in a world where DNR is applied because people don't like film graim. Unfortunately we live in a world where edge enhancement is burned into the masters because some DA thinks it looks good on his 30" studio monitor. Unfortunately we live in a world where people would rather have their screens filled than view the movie as the director intended. Unfortunately we live in a world where MP3s have become a mainstream format and truly amazing SACDs and DVD-A disks get rarer and rarer. People suck. :( Last edited by tsb; 01-31-2008 at 07:44 AM. |

I don't think you have the right to tell what everyone must want, everyone has the right to choose for themselves. You should realize that most ppl can't afford huge, fat bandwidth to be able to download uncompressed HD video on daily basis and therefore settle for the rips. Rippers cater to them, and not to your 'exclusive' tastes. People don't suck, you do, because you appear to whine without giving any consideration to the needs/desires/capabilities of others.
