there is no trojan horse whatsoever, this link is direct from microsoft..im runnin AVG aswell how come i dont get any trojan horse reports? hundreds of people have downloaded vista from these links and no1 has mentioned anything about a trojan horse

Ok,my download is almost finished, after i burn the CD, I install windows ultimate and skip the key, correct?

After installation is done I run the crack? Not sure when to run that crack..



also i run the 32 bit Windows Home Premium, so I just upgrade then correct?

The Vista download is fine and I thank you, very very much for it, but the patch provided, as tested by me with AVG Free, showed a trojan horse, and I was just advising anyone downloading the patch part to be aware of what AVG Free found. The trojan horse is not the part of the patch you said to use, but something else in the downloaded file. Everything I download is first tested to see what my anti-virus shows and is a good practice for all who download things to do the same. Whether or not an individual chooses to use anything downloaded it's up to them.

Again, thank you for this fine thread and the downloads there in and no offense or aspersion was meant by me.

No, not installed. Downloaded and burned to disk but included sting2324's patch on the disk. I have one more piece of hardware to upgrade before I install Vista.

DO NOT download these links. It is NOT bootable. That means it can not do a fresh/clean install. You must first have a current or previous version of Windows installed first. Unless of course, you know how to make it bootable, then never mine.

P.S. If you know what I am talking about, then this is DEFINITELY NOT for you. Look somewhere else.

Lol I installed, and whoop de doo, screwed my computer up like hell.... not a virus though...

I upgraded, it worked fine, bootable.. BUT...the crack doesn't work..

The upgrade went through in the second attempt..each took about 2 hours..sighs.

Very important for all of you that will do an upgrade from Vista Home Premium:
You will need to apply these settings or the upgrade will not work, I googled the error message i received when my update was about done. "Windows could not modify one or more system compoments"

Go to Control Panel> Programs/Install uninstall> Turn windows features On or Off>Expand Microsoft.Net Framework and uncheck: XPS Viewer Option, Remote Differential Compression and Windows DFS Replication Service.

After I did this I successfully upgraded from Home Premium.


Now here comes the issue


I run the crack, reboot and get the Blue Screen.. Royal.sys is causing the error. I had to do System Restore in Windows Repair.

I did this twice..no luck


Now what? It tells me 30 days for activation and the crack provided gives me a Blue screen error for Royal.Sys.


Any help appreciated
