I just discovered your site and must say that I absolutely love it. I live in Nicaragua, Central America and I have been a a fan of anime and martial arts movies since I was justa kid. The series I most vividly remeber was a Spanish-language dubbing of the Buddha's Magic Palm series, created in 1982 by the Hong Kong TVB network. I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!! The Ki-energy based martial arts and characters have stuck with me since then. These stories and their techniques are the precursors to the modern street fighter/manga/anime martial arts storylines that we have come to know and love(by the way, does anybody know where one can access the series, as opposed to the movie ofthe same name, I would truly be grateful to anyone who could help me in this regard).

Moreover, I know that martial arts comics are rather difficult to come by lately so I want to thank each one of your contributors for sharing their material with the rest of us. I hope Hedron can upload the rest of his Buddha's Palm collection. It looks terrific!!!

thanks to you guys for the jademan comics i used to collect these when i was younger they had a massive influence on my life. I watched martials arts movies from a very young age from jacky chan, Hwang jong lee (baad ass kicker in Drunken master) to donnie yuen, jet li, billy chong I could go on. Now recently Nic Tse (tiger wong) in Dragon tiger gate based on the Oriental Heroes comic. Anyone interested I still have a few jademan tittles
1)OH about 30 issues
2)BP issues 21-55
3)Iron marshall 1-31
4)A few Drunken fist 16-17

Someday, I'll get another scanner. I took apart the one I had and found that the lighting element (a sort of thin fluorescent bulb) had burnt out. Oh well, it was slow. I would be interested to see what faster scanners are in the market today.

Good news, I have a new job, and should be able to afford a new scanner in the coming months.

Checking the local Staples, I see there are still a number of stand-alone scanners being sold, starting at $300 US. That's quite a lot, I hope they are faster than the previous generation of scanners that would take 45 seconds per page.

I would definitely rescan all the Jademan I own, they deserve to be preserved.
