What's the difference between the original episode 2 and this one? I noticed a couple glitches, but it was still top notch. Great episode, great work. I'll grab the new one and check it out.

remux is just taking the original hdtv signal, and putting it in a different, usually more universally playable container, or format ... But without encoding the video or audio at all. it remains the same mpeg2 and ac3, at the same bitrate, that the cable or satellite company sends out...

But the actual HDTV signal is 1080i, and after the rip, it is 1080p, and about half the size (audio remains untouched in both) ... it should look better than the 1080i, especially during scenes with lots of quick cuts, action, and fast camera moves, etc.

And everybody please let me know if it plays well if you get the chance... It will help keep the thread bumped, and as I said before I am trying new higher profile settings every time I encode a file in order to make it look better (and be smaller), and so I can kinda learn thru trial and error.
