Thanks for you reply. I burn at 2 or 2.4 (the two lowest speeds that my burner lets me burn at). I Memorex DVD+RW to burn at 2.4x. If the game works, then I burn it on a DVD-R (also Memorex). But recently, I have had a bunch of games not working (eg Deal or No Deal, Guitar Hero World Tour, Pop Star Guitar, Need for Speed). I use the same process, and the following games have worked in the past month: Mario Sluggers, Tomb Raider Underworld, World At War, Wii Music). I don't know what is going on...??

Oh, forgot to mention:
I have the first firs model of the Wii with the Wiikey 1.9s.
Also, i use the WiU1.1 to patch from PAL to NTSC and remove the updates.

Media makes all the difference. I've made nothing but coasters using any memorex discs. If they work they work once or twice then don't read.

Try switching to Verbatim and burn at the lowest rate you can. I burn everything at 1x when I can and 2.4x only in a pinch.

REALLY!? I have been burning on Memorex for a year now (left over Memorex discs from my PS2 burning days), and I have just started to have problems.
Ok, hitting the stores tomorrow for Verbatim and Maxell (someone suggested this brand too).
