Nero might work, but I would use ImgBurn. It's a free burning program. Just google it.

First thank you for posting. Next I burned the file with IMGBURN but my PS2 wouldn't recognize it. Any thoughts?

What are you using to boot? It does require a modchip, or swap magic disc to load the backup copy. If you don't have something to boot the disc, the ps2 won't recognize the disc as a ps2 game. I've tested this with SM, so I know that it works with the SM cd disc. Hope this helps.
