On pc, I assume you meant "main" . Plays either the main file or complete BD just fine with Arcsoft TMT v3.01.185 and Nero Showtime (Nero 7 Ultra). Interlaced scan type so VLC will only play the audio. Is that what you used? Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic won't play it at all.
I'm using Mac OSX, burned the disk in Toast, VIDEO - BDMV Folder, the usual setting for blu-ray disks - used TBK media. On macs there is no blu-ray support but you can play most blu-ray disks by opening the STREAM folder and playing the largest file, in this case 0000.m2ts, what I call the main file, using VLC -also tried with xbmc with no luck.

Sorry, I'm at a loss. Not famailar with Mac. As I said previously, VLC will only play the audio. Have you had success with interlaced video previously ? (1080i)

As stated in the info, the only way that this would fit on a single layer bd-25 is if the audio was converted to DTS-High Resolution Audio (@3 841 Kbps) which , although lossy, is very close to the DTS-MA. I seriously doubt that anyone could hear the difference.

I could have reencoded the video to a lower bitrate. However, x264 is very inefficient when it comes to interlaced sources. So , I felt it was better to leave the video intact (other than converting to *.m2ts).

Added original DTS-HD MA audio track, for those that stream or want to burn to a BD-50.

Just remux, via Tsmuxer, delete the DTS-HR track and add the original, now posted in the op. Takes about 5 min.
