Diablo III vs GPU

hey people,i wanna ask you for your thoughts what to buy.i cant decide between d3 a and new gpu.to be easier here pluses on both side:
-i like d3 and the thing is that i was saving money before release,but at some point around actual release i spent on some other thing for nothing,so that can give you some explanation how bad i want diablo 3 and cant wait to play it sooner or later.
-now about gpu its only plus,simply sell or give my current gpu(gigabyte radeon 4650 1gb) for new one for obvious reason,preparation for new games(bioshock infinite,borderlands 2 and such...)and if gpu which one you suggest me buy so i can play these upcoming games?
now versus thought what you would do and what you suggest:
-buy new gpu only or
-buy diablo 3 now and since i will have money left,save the rest for...example guild wars 2?or even gpu at later date
btw we talking about 100$ budget.thanks

$100 isn't much to expand on. I mean, its not impossible to setup a decent rig with, but don't expect anything great. Also, post some system specs. Will help direct a more sensible suggestion. CPU, PSU, MEM, ect.

Expect to pay min $250 (HD 7850) on a decent GPU. Preferably a good GPU will run you ~350, and for the cream of the crop ~450 and up. All depends on your rig, too. Save Save Save....

4 gb ddr2
some px600 psu or something
gigabyte hd 4650 1gb(this consider to change)

Its obvious he isn't looking to cash out on a high end card. So don't start suggesting the absurd, this isn't OC.net. I'd Suggest Ati HD 6850 or a HD 7770. The 6850 is $135 after mail-in rebate on newegg. The HD 7770 is a bit slower but cheaper. However both require at least 400w power supply. Both cards are over your $100 price range, but any slower isn't really worth the investment.

After reading that, and you are still determined to skim under the $100 mark, go with a HD 4870. Its about 50-70 new. It may be 3-4 years old and only run directx 10, but its quick for what it is.

thanks.i think going for diablo since 100$ isnt really much for gpu honestly.if i plan playing borderlands 2 and such upcoming stuff then i need at least some gpu with minimum 750 as last 3 number.so now whats your thoughts for second thing:buy diablo 3 tomorow and rest of cash save for guild wars 2 since it getting close?
though now i considering especially after read replies on other forum.i dont know.there will be much more edits here

just a thought here....get an approx. 2 year old "gigabyte gtx470 soc"....it's quiet and d3 does not even use it's full potential...oh, and btw, be sure to assign only 2 cores (not all 4 or more) for d3...this will save you some trouble...since blizz is not able to prog good multi core support into their games...

and yeah, I know, a two year+ old card won't find your approval...just saying that d3 doesn't need the newest high performance gpu...

Well I know I can't tell you to NOT buy Diablo 3, but in my opinion, you should just buy yourself Torchlight II as I think it's gunna release soon, but, you seem to REALLY want Diablo 3. For that $100, you could grab yourself a good graphics card such as the one Billes recommended. I don't know what's up with people thinking that in order to actually PLAY games you need a $300+ GPU, guess what, you don't.

For freaks sake I'm using a LAPTOP (Core i5 2.4ghz, 6 gb RAM) and it has a ATI HD 550v which is absolute crap compared to what was recommended, YET I play ALL current-gen games at almost max. Take Max Payne 3 for example, I was playing it at mostly High settings on DX 10.1. Sure it's not OMG DX 11 VERY HIGH but really, it MORE than does the job.

If I were you, just grab yourself one of the GPU's recommended. It'd be better in the long run UNLESS you forsee yourself obtaining MORE $$$ in the near future.

well honestly i dont want it so much anymore after reading some posts and see what was latest patch about,i still considering,about gpu i dont plan 10.1 to use again so card must be directx11 and im about getting better job in near future like from now till the end of year so more $ isnt that much of problem.maybe the best possible solution is to save for guild wars 2 because with that you cant be wrong and what left keep saving for gpu so when borderlands,bioshock,dead space 3 come ill be ready
btw i agree about torchlight 2,i tried beta and cant wait full its more fun
one more thing,here where am i now i have 2 computer shops where i can get new gpu for my old one with some $ more.so i should look for that first maybe i can get some decent graphics

Since you're from Serbia, do you have a website you would buy your graphics card from because your pricing is different than online stores based in the US with US dollars?

Ignore what this person is saying because he's pretty much a thread hijacker and didn't even read the OP (Post #1). I have played about close to 200 hours in Diablo 3. Since you're first entering in the game now, you won't noticed what Blizzard nerfed in the game because you'll be starting in normal.

on that matter i liked beta and i dont know if the full game be worth now to buy,i dont wanna think later when starting nightmare `never should buy this`
too bad that gw2 still dont have release date,that would help me a bit to choose

In fact the biggest point is this:should i save money for graphics and maybe even get some more money or buy diablo 3 and rest of the money(about half diablo price)save to buy guild wars 2 also,and of course the graphic card just some more time later?graphic is for sure but only little bit later
p.s. so after that 200 hours what is your thought should i get diablo
