Default Finding Macintosh Applications

Okay so I try to search for Mac applications and I am never able to find them as quickly as I can find anything else on this site. Especially since our search engine doesn't support any word three letters or smaller. And I'm sorry but my computer is called a MAC. So does anyone have any suggestions of how to search for them? (Am I just being dumb?)

Hi,

Did you tried to use the "search by Tag", 3 letters words work with tag.
It doesn't work for all (depend on people who use (correctly) tag), here is one of my post, but i forgot the comma between tags, so the search by tag failed ...
