I did it on my three PCs, and there is a sensible improvement. Anyway maybe that packet loss depends on your line. In any case let's try

Thanks for this tip, but it doesn't seem to work. After restarting my computer, my main account freezes. After it logs in to windows, the thing just freezes. This doesn't happen though in my other account in this computer. I tried logging in again (3 times) also tried switching users, didn't work, my main account always froze.
Although after following your guide again, but this time I left it to what it was before, which was No Configuration, my account worked again! I don't know what the problem seems to be the problem, but when I did that, it started to bug my windows account.

Well, when I had similar NetGear device (cant remember model), I got all kind of weird problems with it when using Internet in decent load.
At some point I got pissed and just installed DD-WRT over official crappy netgear firmware. Sure it voided warranty, but at least was super stable after that and had far more advanced features too.
Is this safe to do? I'm not too experienced with networking stuff yet, I just want to make sure this is fool-proof if ever I make a mistake.
I searched around and people doesn't seem to like DD-WRT on WNDR3300:

***I'm going to Fry's Electronics tomorrow, do you guys recommend any specific coax cable or splitter?(Amazon is also fine) After installing the new coax, I'll test if I still get packet loss, if I do, ill remove the router and connect directly to the modem. I'll post again tomorrow.
***What specs should I look at when looking for a coax cable or splitter?
***I was reading some stuff about the splitters and they were talking about all these db sound stuff, I don't quite get it, could someone explain? I read that all these splitting of coax cable could cause packet loss, but I have very hard time understanding all the things they say...
Sorry for the many questions.
THANKS EVERYONE.
