Default How to place a resize bar above image in your thread/post?

I couldn't find any thread (I'm sure there is, but I couldn't find it) explaining on how to put a bar above your picture that gives viewers the option to resize the image to a large format. Could anyone tell me in short on how to do so? Or link such a thread regarding this?

I think the forum may do it automatically for oversized images but I'm not sure on that.

if this is what you are talking about, the pictures are automatically resized when they are bigger than what is allowed

Correct. If you're image is within the specified dimensions then it is not nessassary, however, if you insert a large image the script resizes it whilst keeping the images proportion intact. Neat eh?

The actual size limit of a picture is 600x600. If it exceeds that limit in any dimension (width or height), you receive the resize bar. Keep in mind, that a picture which exceeds the max. dimensions, is first loaded and then resized. This causes a page to load more slowly.

If you don't really see the need to allow a user viewing your post to use the resize bar in order to view a picture in a higher than necessary resolution, you should resize it manually before uploading and embedding into it your posts. Personally, I hate it when someone embeds too many high-res pictures in a single post. The loading time can sometimes be rediculous, depending on the available bandwidth of that particular image hoster.

More is not always better...

@zack
Click on the picture in your littleimg account so that the full screen version is showing, then right click and click 'copy image location' then paste that in [img] tags here or hit the mountain button and paste your url there. I do this all the time. Thanks TehParadox for providing such a kickass image server by the way!
