I hope that I can exceed the limit of 2.66GB/day if I have saved before (otherwise the allowance would be gone if not used same day) but I can not save more than 10GB.
The limit of 2.66GB/day is only for the amount you get credited every day.
If you don't download anything for a few days, the maximum you'll have is 10GB.
Of course you can download all the 10GB the day you have it. But then you'll get 2.66GB/day again.
Also if you have trafficShare left, you can download it anytime you want.

So there is no limit on how much you'll download, but a limit to how much you are credited and store away.

I have such a love/hate relationship with MU. I LOVE MU as a downloader. I HATE MU as an uploader. I refuse to upload to MU because of their discriminatory rewards program, but I do love to download from MU as I get such great speed from them, even as a free downloader. If only MU would offer a non-discriminatory rewards program, then I'd 100% support MU as the best file sharing site.

Well.. I think the one thing holding Megaupload back is the fact that not many people upload to there.
This is actually MU's own fault since their reward program is really shit.
I bought an account thinking to upload things and renew my account later with points, but they're really dishonest about giving points.

Over the last month, I've had over 2000 downloads of my files, and have received a whopping 187 points (!!!).

Needless to say I won't bother releasing files on MU anymore

netload is beginning to look like the new server of choice. Too bad, I liked rapidshare

Well, I've been premium user of all three, I've seen that they all have good or bad specialities:

1) You can find most movies in rapidshare, but it sucks in security, your account can easily be hacked. They give you a new username and password, but you may wait one week to get a new one, because most of the people request the same thing.
And also you download a movie from rapidshare with 100, 200, rarely 1 gb rar parts, sometimes it becomes very annoying to extract these parts, cause sometimes you open the rar and you see another 50 mb each rar pack, and sometimes when you pause your downloads, the downloading rar parts can be broken.
For your download manager, you just copy the links in the website, in the download properties, you enter your username and password for just one time and save it (then in all of your downloads your username and password will be ready), and start all, very easy.
It rarely breaks, cuts, and its speed is stable.

2) The best feature of Megashares, is you download the files in one part, you do not extract the rar files ot you don't deal with broken rar parts. It's speed is good and stable too; but
When you pause it or it remains open too long like 10 hours or more, the downloading stops, and you need to open the website again, copy the shortcut and paste it (replace it) with your recent downloaded file, and it continues, but in periods you are busy and you can't check it, when you came to check, you may be disappointed because of it.
It is well protected, though my account was never hacked.

3) The speed of netload is not stable. Sometimes its fast and sometimes not, and you need to open the folder click every link and then you put them on the line in your download manager, it's really annoying. But no cuts, no breakdowns, and it is well protected.

Me, I use rapidshare and megashares, which one suits the situation, cause I like stable speed. I removed my netload account, because of its unstable download speed. When my rapidshare account is hacked, megashares was always a saviour for a HD movies and PC Games maniac just like me

netload. because i had 2 day and got hooked. really tho it was because of the limits on rapidshare which arent imposed on netload yet, i say yet because you never know which service will be the next rapidshare interms of limits or popularity.

but i have downloaded loads of hd movies and loads that i like are on netload or rapidshare. bit the bullet and get few month sub if you dont want to commit a year, of course that will cost more if you want the same service and not try another.
