if you want to use fireworks to make the animation then you do not need frames , you simply start a new project and add "states" CS5 i think it is called frames in CS3

just add more states to match the amount of images used in the animation , you can simply change the speed of each frame/state right there or do it when exporting which is what i do

click on state 1 and drag your image in , click on state 2 and drag your second image in etc etc

will require some playing with and adjusting though

each image is added to each state

Your animation can be modified and saved through export wizard

1000 Thx again. It worked!!!!
As soon as I added each picture to the status, FW practically did the rest by it´s own. I did not have to use the export wizard! My export function does not save a file as an animated gif. I just had to save my animation as animated gif using the common "save as" function. Maybe it is different on PC?

1) Is it possible to add a sound track and how?

2) How can I add 2 to 3 exchangeable subtitles?

3) Does someone know how animation is done using the Photoshop? The Photoshop
does not have the menu "Status" - right?

It is not possible to add sound to .gif as far as i know , you would probably need to make an animation with flash

Darn. a Flash file is usually a no go on a public website. But for my task Flash will do fine. Thank you! Are you familiar with Flash? Maybe I there is a software where I could combine FW with sound and subs? Maybe I should open a new thread concerning this matter.

If you get access of new information, please let me know!
