Default Need clarification on new rips.

Hello people i just need you guys to clarify something for me, For example there are new movies that are coming out lets say a new release "21 Jump Street" The first release was from sector 7 usually their releases are around 7-10 gb with a bitrate of 8-10 kbps and couple of days later other releases start to come out lets say chd and hdchina witch they have way more bitrates but can you really tell the difference on the releases when you are lets say 10-20ft away from your tv the reason is that i would like to download them as soon as they come out but dont want to double download the same content so usually i will wait for a release with higher bitrate but when i look at it most of the people get the first release and few people get the release with higher bitrate so i really don't know if it really matters while viewing it or not.
