Default Netload asking for archive password

I've uploaded in excess of 200GB on Netload and never been asked for my archive password and now suddenly they are asking for the password for all my uploads. Anyone know why this is happening and what they need the password for?

Is this when you directly upload to Netload or when you're remote uploading to NL from another hoster, e.g. RS?

just happened to me as well half an hour ago.

Going down the drain.:A huge inconvenience for me. am I suppose to fill in a password for each archive, ludicrous the least.Ha I'm guessing there next move is to delete any uploads with blacklisted passwords or something.

uploading with FTP and then when creating links it asks pass for each and every archive

Sounds like the same problem Nem99 was having. This indeed sucks!

I've stopped uploading altogether until I figure out what to do.

Damn. I hope you can find a solution soon. You were just becoming so quick with your uploads too.

I thought we had a discussion regarding this a few weeks back. IIRC you can resolve the constant password question by going into your NL account and set a standard rar password. (tehparadox.com etc.)

by the way, I have been remote uploading from RS to NL and have never had the password question problem.

This is what I was doing as well. What annoyed me was I just renewed my account that this happened.
Also when it was creating links, some of my links were not created due to in breach of their TOS.

I'm more concern on why they are doing this. Obviously their are checking for warez stuff but I'm assuming this is going to effect the payout as well?
