Default r4i 3ds games disappearing on memory card

Hi All,

as the title suggests, after a few days, maybe a few weeks, the games just disappear from my memory cards... the r4i files are still there...but no games.. i;ve tried different memory cards, sizes from 2gb to 8gb... and i have 2 r4i 3ds cards which are apparently the original deal, and it happens with both of them...have tried searching on googl but cant find anything that has helped... done all the samsung/panasonic mem card formatter etc etc...

any ideas?

Throw your NDS files in a NDS folder and try again

Please remember that it's still impossible to play 3DS games

I think he meant NDS roms on R4 card for 3DS, did you update your 3DS? You might need latest firmware for your R4 which usually can be found at their site

You know, the same thing happened to me but I just assumed I had messed up and inadvertently removed 'em. After that I just stuck to playin' ds stuff on the ds I have. Figured I'd just wait till someone cracked the 3ds. Hmm mystery solved.

hi sorry for delayed reply.. and perhaps confusing post!

i have a dsi and a dsi xl... and i have the r4i 3ds card which apparently can be used on the dsi and xl and on 3ds consoles.. as you've all mentioned, you cant play 3ds games but i only have ever put the normal ds games on their... i;ve tried with having all in a folder called 'games' and also by having all the games in the root directory...

i;ve downloaded latest drivers for the card and updated the dsi's to the latest version that r4 recommends....

it's driving me nuts lol...

What Menu do you use for your card?
Try to use one game at the time:
your r4i files then one game file
try to find out when they exactly disappear.
