Keyboard Win 7 update no sound

I just inherited a rather old laptop, a Dell Latitude D610, and immediately installed win 7. However, I'm having trouble getting the sound drivers for it. When I updated my HP I installed realtek audio and everything was fine, but it's not working for the dell. I also tried sigmatel but no go.

Here are the specs:

Also, I need to enable hardware acceleration to play freecell. Would nvidia work for this?

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if you have not already looked at this manual but according to it the Audio controller is a Sigmatel 9751 and Audio type is AC'97 (Soft Audio).

Go to this link and download everything then burn it onto a disc to keep for backup.

If your audio driver doesn't work for Windows 7 then you may have to go back to Windows XP to get them working again.

nVidia produces graphics cards. All modern graphics card support hardware acceleration and have much better technologies like CUDA or OpenCL but laptops do not support graphics cards nor can you change your onboard graphics.

The sigmatel 9751 didn't work and I was looking for but not finding the r99254 version.

PhenomIIX4: Awesome! Sound's working just fine. I couldn't get to the dell website without problems. Thank you! Now just to dl the rest of the drivers for the video.
