Hey guys, my computer wants to update to Service Pack 3 and i have SP2 at the moment, i was wondering, does upgrading to SP3 make any programs unable to run, like sometimes i see programs say that they require Windows XP SP2, will this make these programs unusable??
thanks, Killzone889

The only scenario would be if you are upgrading SP2 that was cracked or any suspicious trick used to seem activated, then you install SP3 and it may tell you that in 30 days you must activate your XP. So watch out, always install proper/bought OS with license and activate without cracks.

There shouldn't be a problem with the program after you update to SP3, I've tried before from XP SP2 - SP3 and all my programs still run normally without issues

Should be fine. Personally I like to reformat and update to SP3 on a fresh install though, seems to run a bit smoother/faster that way IMO.
