OK it seems some of the members using this thread either can't read or are not accepting the rules appertaining to this thread, from now on a 4 Point warning will be given for disrespecting the TP Staff, the next step after that will be ones of these as I'm fed up removing non download link posts as I'm sure the rest of the team are, we have tried our best for Spazzer and the rest of the members who post links in here correctly and I'm sure they do not want this thread to be closed

COVERS are gone from the first page! It's not as pretty, but stiff sh*t. Too many people were saying they couldn't even load the first page (hell, I couldn't even edit it), so now it is text only.

  • This is my personal collection.
  • All tracks have Album art both in folder and embedded in IDtag where possible.
  • All encoding bit rates are simply as stated from current kbps. I will not be testing "true" bit rates with Audition, Audacity, etc. They are supplied "as is" in the same condition that I downloaded them.
  • Most of these albums are downloaded from this very same site, so credits to the original sharers.
  • F*CK ups. They happen. If one has happened on this thread then just politely point it out and I'm happy to fix it/reup the file.


A note on RAR files /Archives:

When extracting, it's important that you use the latest version of Winrar (as Winrar was used to create the archives). I use version 3.9.3
I now include a 5% recovery record on all files, but sometimes if you use an old version you will still get errors on a good file.

As far as passwords, if you copy and paste them but are getting errors, try pasting the password into a New Text Document (Notepad) first. You will sometimes notice that for no apparent reason windows has decided to add some "spaces" at the end.

While we are on the subject, I might suggest RARmonkey. I get a few PMs now and then from lazy people complaining that they have to input the password for every single archive, well RARmonkey can do that for you. Just tick the box for "Use this password for all files" or something.
It's quite handy I guess, I just stopped using it because the interface looks like it was designed for a 12 year old.

Yes I have more, but they need to be sorted. I go over all the albums before uploading (covers, embedded covers, tags, names, rars etc) and this takes time. Because my collection is so unorganized it's going to take time.

Thank you very much for sharing all this, but I seem to be having a problem: I can't get the files to unarchive, I keep getting an error message. I am using the password, so I know it's not that. I've tried from both Rapidshare and Megaupload but I keep getting the same problem. :\
