why dont you just download one album, convert it, delete the FLACs, do it over again for each album.
i cant imagine you're so limited in space that you can't do whatever is needed for what you want.

it sounds like something reasonable to do. a lot of my other friends do that if there are no mp3 links.
then you can encode it the way you want it. cbr@320/vbr-0.

you dont need to download all of them at once.
