That sounds like a guess. The trailer hasn't been released in 5.1 anywhere.
The youtube and quicktime trailers are all 2.0.
The quicktime trailer has an audio bitrate of 96kbps too.

I haven't downloaded but if you think it's a 5.1 rip, then I'm guessing it's the same as the youtube versions everywhere, with "vocals removed" effect, giving a feel of 5.1 rip.

I'm waiting to get FLACed, I haven't been FLACed good for a while...

I have the PCM audio track of the teaser trailer. There is no voice, BUT there is the effects... I will try to have music-only version. But it's already ten times better than the previous version! :p

One other thing : you will notice that sometimes the volume decrease, it's because the characters are supposed to talk. It's normal and I can't do something against it...

There is nothing on the first 45 seconds because it's a presentation of the video explaining what are on the different channels.

I don't know how to edit a wav without loosing the quality (I guess how I would do that but I don't have the softwares to) so forgive me!

EDIT: I have the video file where there is only the music, nothing more, and in lossless! Bad news: I don't know how to extract it (There are 4 differents tracks)... If someone know how to keep one particular channel from a .mov (dvcpro), I will try to do something.

If I recall correctly To Glory was a special exclusive track for the Invincible release. Perhaps it has a different "sound" to it for this reason.

well, with quicktime trailers, if it's available in 5.1, you can remove the center channel where most of the dialog and sfx are contained. Leaving the left/right/surround left/surround right channels with most of the music and dynamic sfx that travel through the channels.
rips without the dialog and some sfx removed can lead people to say it's a 5.1 rip.
but 5.1 trailers are rare. anything from youtube or yahoo are mostly 2.0 (flv containers for online streaming).
5.1 sources can be from the Masters, 5.1 encoded trailers on the official site or Apple's QuickTime trailer site, or sometimes DVD's/Blurays.
